The Role Advise on HSR filings, merger-clearance strategy and antitrust risk in complex corporate transactions. Coordinate multi-jurisdictional review processes and respond to regulator information requests. Draft filings, analyses and advocacy materials and work with economists, clients and transaction teams. Support investigations and strategic counselling across competition-law matters. Coordinate with attorneys and professionals across related practice areas and offices. Ideal Candidate Profile Approximately 4–8 years of substantive antitrust and hsr experience. Experience handling merger-control, HSR and competition-law matters for sophisticated clients. Strong drafting, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. The ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet demanding deadlines and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Strong academic credentials and experience in a sophisticated law-firm environment. Substantive HSR and merger-control experience is required. Admission in California, DC, New York, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly, is required. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated base salary range is $310,000–$435,000, depending on class year, experience, location, qualifications and other relevant factors.
