If you’re organized, people‑focused, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we’d love to meet you.About the RoleThe Kitchen Prep Cook plays a critical role in supporting our culinary operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen organization, and ensuring food is prepared to company standards. This position helps create exceptional dining experiences by providing high-quality support to our catering and event teams. Attention to detail, consistency, teamwork, and a commitment to food safety are key to success in this role.What You’ll DoPrepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and production schedulesWash, peel, chop, slice, and prepare vegetables, fruits, meats, and other food itemsAssist with food production for weddings, special events, and catering operationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, storage areas, and equipmentProperly label, store, and rotate food products following food safety guidelinesEnsure compliance with all sanitation, food handling, and workplace safety standardsAssist with receiving, stocking, and organizing deliveries and inventorySupport chefs and kitchen leadership with daily operational needsHelp load and prepare food and supplies for transportation to event venues as neededPartner with teammates throughout the organization to support operational efficiency and exceptional guest experiencesComplete other duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForExperiencePrevious experience in food preparation in a kitchen setting requiredCatering and/or banquet experience a plusKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to stand or walk for up to eight (8) hours or more in a fast-paced environment requiring movement and the ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs.Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) language skills preferredTrademark Core BehaviorsIntentional ServiceClear AccountabilityExtraordinary EmpathyEthics in ActionAdaptive ExcellenceOperational ClarityWhy Trademark Venues?Trademark Venues is a fast-growing hospitality and events company rooted in North San Diego County.
