What You'll Bring: Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in Maryland schools highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge working within K-12 settings, including high school self-contained classrooms with moderate to severe needs Ability to travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant provider Adaptability, strong communication skills, and a patient, student-centered approach What You'll Do: Provide assessments, direct therapy, and develop individualized programs for a diverse K-12 student population Address spot fill needs at various campus locations, supporting students and educational staff Work onsite full-time (37.5 hours/week) or consider part-time hours based on availability Manage a caseload that includes high school students in self-contained, moderate to severe programs Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate records and contribute actively to IEP meetings Position Highlights: Secure a contract placement lasting the full academic year, from late August to mid-June Enjoy the support of a welcoming, experienced team in a district that values its therapists Flexible scheduling options - full-time or part-time hours available This is your chance to make an immediate, meaningful difference in students' educational journeys.
