Customer Service Administrator

Essential Functions Answer the phone line in a timely, courteous manner Direct calls to appropriate personnel or departments, giving callers a choice between holding and voicemail when the designated person is on a call or unavailable Listen to voicemails, take messages and return customer calls promptly Inform the Administration Manager of any phone‑system problems or voicemail issues Assist with miscellaneous projects as directed by the manager Maintain a professional, friendly presence and foster collaborative relationships with peers, supervisors, customers and vendors Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor Work overtime as requested and approved by the supervisor Qualifications Experience in customer service, clerical or administrative support Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills; polite, professional manner on the phone Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks and projects Professional appearance and dependable attendance Ability to work under pressure and accommodate occasional overtime or schedule adjustments Physical/Mental Demands This position requires the employee to be consistently on time, maintain a professional appearance, communicate with all levels of management, employees, vendors and customers, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and type repetitively. Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required.
