Faculty Dentist/Exodontist Position

Our organization is on the lookout for candidates to fill a full-time or part-time Exodontist role at the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. This position primarily involves delivering direct patient care and overseeing pre-doctoral students in both emergency and elective Oral Surgery clinics. Additionally, the faculty member will engage in various teaching responsibilities, which may include supervising students in clinical settings and pre-clinical laboratories, as well as conducting didactic sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Oral Surgery clinics.
• Supervise pre-doctoral students during clinical and pre-clinical activities.
• Participate in didactic teaching as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must possess a DDS or DMD degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
• Active clinician with experience in a high-volume practice is essential.
• International Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons with Board Certification or its equivalent from their home country may be considered.
• Preference will be given to graduates of a CODA-accredited AEGD or GPR program.
• Strong clinical and teaching experience, especially in minor oral surgery and dental extractions, is required.
• Current or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania is mandatory.
