Job Description:

About the Role:

The Machine Operator role at the Hanover location reports to the Packing Room Supervisor and takes day-to-day direction from the Lead Machine Operator. Youll add value to this role by performing various functions including but not limited to:

• Ensures that production standards are met by: operating all packing room machines at specified efficiency (speed). Packing room machines include: Hayssens box machines box tapers stretch wrapper diverter gates case labelers and sonic sensors.
• Determines upcoming production needs by studying production sheet to anticipate changeovers and assigned products to machines. Uses this information to have correct film co-dates stickers hot stamps etc. ready for next order.
• Maintains specifications by observing operations detecting malfunctions and inspecting product for pleats leakers holes registration and code-dates to keep within specified bag waste limits.
• Ensures product specifications by completing weight checks on packing lines.

• Other duties as assigned

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 1st Shift which operates from 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday Overtime on Saturday as needed . $25.50/hr.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication both verbal and written
• Experience in a manufacturing environment food manufacturing a plus
• The ability to work overtime and weekends
