About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have: - Experience in telemetry nursing - Ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The nurse will care for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, MI, dysrhythmias, hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and vascular issues. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:4-5. Daily census averages 35 patients in a 36-room unit. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. Candidates must possess skills in various areas, including telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, and non-invasive airway management. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to manage cardiac telemetry effectively. The position may require floating within the facility as needed. There are expectations to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to ensure timely start dates. If applicable, local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate. All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission.
