Registered Nurse, DialysisDialysis unit services all inpatients that require hemodialysis, therapeutic plasma exchange, or plasmapheresis during their hospital admission; either within the department and/or critical care areas. Dialysis services are available as needed 24/7.Shift: 6:30am-4PM [4 shifts/wk]Call Requirements:1 Sunday every 5 weeks1 evening call during the week (Mon-Sat)2nd evening call every 5 weeks (Not on the same week as the Sunday unless requested)Job Description:The Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.Employee honors patients 'mind, body, and spirit by respecting human dignity and the uniqueness of each individual.Nursing practices are based on evidence and current research as well as hospital and department policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines.Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity.
