Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Specialty: OR RN – strong Orthopedic OR background Trauma: Level I Trauma Center OR Size: 33 OR suites — 23 on 5 North 10 on 2 West Volume: Approximately 80–120 cases/day Charting: Epic – OpTime Guaranteed Hours: 40/week Schedule: 2 × 12s 2 × 8s, rotating days/afternoons 12-hour shifts: 6:30a–7p, 9a–9:30p, or 10:30a–11p 8-hour shifts: 6:30a–3p or afternoon starts at 9a, 10:30a, or 2:30p Weekends: Some weekends required Call: 20–30 hours standby per 4-week period Call Response: 30 minutes Required Certification: BLS Experience: Must be able to circulate independently Scrubbing: Not required for RNs Floating: Between 5N and 2W OR only , based on experience Scrubs: Provided Orientation: 2–3 shifts, including Epic orientation License: License to submit — facility willing to wait Radius: Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles Cancellation: Facility may cancel 2 shifts per 13-week contract Cases: Major ortho, joints, spine, sports medicine, trauma, neuro/crani, surgical oncology, urology, GYN, bariatrics, ENT/head & neck reconstruction, ophthalmology, and Level I polytrauma . Xi Robotics experience is a plus, but not required.
