Full-Time Sous Chef

The Avalon of Lewis Center is recruiting for a hospitality focused Sous Chef to on production cooking while helping supervise kitchen staff in the Community Culinary Services Department. of quality service and cleanliness at all times. This is a full time position that would require weekend availability. .

*Open interviews are held every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday 10am-12N!

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Sous Chef:

* Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation Produce and serve menu cycle programs that are compliant with required Nutritional/Dietary criteria as required by local regulations and correctly prepare diets provided per Policy and Procedure. * Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary. * Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service such as quality, revisions in operations / procedures to promote improved food service. * Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a High school diploma * Culinary degree preferred * Minimum of 3-5 year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience * passionate about hospitality and senior engagement- please apply, we'd love to
