The Tree House Episcopal Montessori School is seeking candidates for the position of assistant teacher. Hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday – Friday. This is an entry-level hourly position with health and ancillary benefits. Individuals must have an understanding of childhood development, patience and respect for children, a desire to encourage children to be independent, and an ability to model appropriate behavior. Teachers must maintain an environment rich with Montessori philosophy, that is both safe and engaging for children.
Early childhood education background required. Montessori experience preferred.
