As Facilities Coordinator, you'll be the backbone of daily operations, keeping labs, shops, and workspaces running safely and efficiently while gaining hands-on exposure to cutting-edge hardware and fabrication environments.

• Pay: $30 - $35/hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventories of facility supplies, spare parts, tools, and equipment
• Inspect facilities and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
• Perform general facility repairs, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and mechanical work
• Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors performing facility and equipment work
• Support the safety program by identifying hazards and serving as a key member of the Safety Committee

Qualifications
Required:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (heavier items handled with mechanical assistance or team lift)
• Comfortable performing hands-on facility repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, mechanical)
• Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, heat-resistant gloves, and safety shoes, in lab and shop environments

Preferred:

• Prior facilities or maintenance experience
• Experience coordinating with vendors or contractors
• Familiarity with lab or shop safety protocols
