Faculty Adjunct

Overview

Touro College of Dental Medicine invites applications for adjunct academic or clinical positions in general dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities may include predoctoral, preclinical, didactic and laboratory instruction, clinical supervision of patient care in the comprehensive care programs, teaching associated administrative responsibilities, committee membership, and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience

• Doctor of Dental Surgery/Doctor of Medical Dentistry from a CODA-accredited dental school or equivalent required

• CPR Certification and Dental License Registration required

• Certificate of training from an ADA-accredited AEGD or GPR program or other advanced degrees and previous teaching experience.

• NYS Dental License required

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

• General administrative duties required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook required

• A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement, and discretion required

• Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students faculty and colleagues required

• Exceptional analytical problem solving skills, collaboration, and matrix management skills required

• Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required

• Ability to use Zoom software

Maximum Salary

USD $5,000.00/Sem

Minimum Salary

USD $4,000.00/Sem
