About Westchester Community College Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Job Description Westchester Community College seeks Adjunct Faculty in Computer Science to teach courses in Computer Science including courses in Python, C++, Java, Web Development, and the Linux OS. Requirements Required Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree in Computer Science (or a Master’s degree in a closely related field) and one year of practical teaching experience is required. Preferred Qualifications: Prior college teaching experience is a plus. Additional Information Position Effective: Spring 2025 Hourly Rate of Pay: The hourly rate of pay is $93.84. No benefits.
