Purpose & Scope: This crucial role will be responsible for planning and optimizing a detailed production schedule which ensures alignment of customer demands, inventory levels, and production capacity. Essential Duties May Include: • Schedule 30+ plastic injection molding machines while minimizing downtime and maximizing machine utilization • Coordinating with other departments to allocate the resources, materials, equipment, and personnel needed to effectively run production
• Anticipate and mitigate potential issues or shortages that may interrupt production
• Oversee the inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure supply levels are adequate and available for upcoming scheduled runs
• Identify opportunities for improvement regarding efficiency, cost reduction, and downtime • Ensure timely delivery of all customer goods and proactively communicate any potential delays that may occur Requirements • Previous experience planning and scheduling plastic injection molding machines and labor • Professional written and verbal communication • Strong computer skills and knowledge of IQMS • Meticulous attention to detail
