Job #: 3035744 Database Administrator III Location: Chandler, Arizona (Hybrid) Employment Type: 12 Months Contract Role Overview This position involves the full life cycle management of DB2 mainframe databases, from initial analysis through decommissioning. The role will also engage in DB2 related z/OS database initiatives, REXX programming, Python programming, and the extraction of SMF data for performance analysis. A hybrid work schedule is required, with a minimum of three days per week onsite. Key Responsibilities Manage the complete lifecycle of DB2 mainframe databases. Participate in z/OS database initiatives related to DB2. Develop and maintain REXX and Python programs. Extract and analyze SMF data to monitor and improve DB2 performance. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of DB2 database experience. In-depth knowledge of SMF data and REXX; working knowledge of Splunk and Python programming. Preferred Qualifications Experience in application development. Knowledge of database replication. Comprehensive database administration skillset with Db2 on mainframe.
