Power Distribution Designer

Day to Day:

Our client, a leading firm in power distribution design , is seeking a skilled Utilities Designer / Utilities Engineer with approximately 5 years of experience to support distribution design, quality control, and project coordination for major utility clients in the DFW region. This role is ideal for someone who can produce high‑quality design packages with minimal oversight and is ready to step into a mid‑level technical position.

Must Haves:

• Approximately 5 years of experience in utilities design , distribution engineering , or related power distribution work
• Proficiency in AutoCAD , MicroStation , or ESRI GIS
• Experience producing full construction packages with limited oversight
• Familiarity with utility design standards
• Strong understanding of overhead and/or underground distribution systems
• Ability to perform field work as needed (site walks, measurements, as‑builts)
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Compensation :

$30/hr to $38/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
