Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year A bit about us: Looking for a bookkeeper to support a CPA firm that focuses it's client base on Dental and Healthcare practices. This person will manage 20-30 different client's books and manage A/P, A/R, month-end, payroll, financial transactions, QuickBooks, and more! Why join us? Medical, dental, vision Remote work (100% remote) Strong PTO and paid holidays 401K Match Job Details Responsibilities: As a Remote Accounting Associate, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Managing and maintaining the accounts receivable process, ensuring that all invoices are issued and payments are received in a timely manner. 2. Performing monthly and weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and control. 3. Supporting the payroll process for clients, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. 4. Managing and maintaining the chart of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards. 5. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. 6. Working collaboratively with other members of the accounting team to improve processes and procedures. 7. Providing excellent customer service to clients, answering any accounting-related inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry. 2. A degree in accounting or a related field. 3. Proficiency in QuickBooks or a similar accounting software. 4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with a particular focus on accounts receivable and bank reconciliations. 5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. 6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. 8. The ability to work independently in a remote environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to take initiative.
