Field Service Technician

Job Description Job Description Please Note: This position requires hands-on mechanical aptitude and experience working with machinery, equipment, tools, or manufacturing processes. Candidates with backgrounds in maintenance, mechanics, industrial equipment, electromechanical systems, or manufacturing are strongly preferred. This is not an IT, software, network, or computer support position. Responsibilities * Provide efficient and timely service to internal and external customers to assure that our equipment is installed, repaired and operating to the customer's expectations so we continually reduce customer attrition. * Analyze individual solutions and take appropriate action to ensure that the customer's needs are met. * Abide by and follow all Safety Policies and Guidelines of Storopack * Understand and Follow the Vision and Guidelines of Storopack * Prioritize and handle multiple tasks as they arise. * Maintain an active role in continuous improvements. * Overnight Travel: Maximum 5% Qualifications * 2-year Technical Degree and/or 2 plus years of Technical Service Experience * Prior field service experience is desired. * Valid Driver's License and Excellent Driving Record * Basic Computer Skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook * Mechanical Ability - working with Hand Tools, Power Tools and General Mechanical applications to trouble shoot and resolve mechanical issues. * Electrical Ability - working with Voltage Meters, Amp Clamps and General Electrical applications to trouble shoot and resolve electrical issues. * Ability to read Basic Electrical Schematic and Engineered Drawings Company Description Storopack is a family owned, privately held international company with 18 manufacturing locations throughout North America - Corporate headquarters resides in Cincinnati, OH. Storopack produces flexible packaging materials such as; Air Cushions, Paper Padding, Foam-in-Place, Loose Fill, Bubble, Mailers, Pre-Molded Foam Cushions and the packaging systems producing these materials on-demand at the customer facility. We work directly with the client and sell our products through distribution.
