Clinic Support Coordinator

Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. – 4:30p.m. EST. Job Duties & Responsibilities Perform a variety of administrative processes and serve as the first and last point of contact with patients daily. Answer telephone calls and provide accurate Rogers program and services information to callers. Register and schedule patients and confirm insurance guarantor information. Perform daily check‑in and check‑out of patients and report this information. On admission, verify patient identification, demographics and insurance, and ensure all paperwork and consent information are obtained or updated in the medical record. Maintain and order supplies. Distribute incoming packages and mail. Maintain medical records ensuring accuracy of document placement and review all active records for correct placement of forms and patient information. File all reports accurately and in a timely manner. Complete all documentation within required timeframes and ensure routine and priority tasks are completed within established timeframes. Coordinate projects as assigned. Track and complete metrics and statistics as assigned by operations leadership. Copy documents for the treatment team. Communicate and coordinate the transfer process to and from Rogers. Assist in facilitating treatment by acting as a communication resource to other disciplines, external agencies, and as directed by the treatment team. Maintain the environment in a safe, orderly manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Conduct oneself in a professional manner. Demonstrate organizational skills that promote timely response to all inquiries and task completion. Communicate with all individuals in a positive and professional manner. Attempt to resolve individual issues with peers in a positive, calm manner, focusing on solutions. Communicate concerns and provide solutions for the same. Attend outside seminars to promote professional growth. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude toward all customers. Comply with the hospital’s policies and procedures, including Human Resources, Infection Control, and Employee Health policies and programs. Project a professional image by wearing appropriate, professional attire. Education & Training Requirements 18 years of age or older. High school diploma required. Proficiency with computer programs (Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.) and electronic health record software required; Cerner preferred. Previous experience in an office setting, medical office, or psychiatric setting preferred. Basic knowledge of equipment used for clerical duties. American Heart Association Provider CPR certification required within thirty (30) days of hire; annual recertification required. Formal training in crisis prevention and intervention required within sixty (60) days of hire; annual recertification required.
