Overview The Department of Petroleum Engineering at the Cullen College of Engineering, University of Houston, seeks a part‑time adjunct faculty for Fall 2026 in the area of Drilling Engineering. Responsibilities Teach undergraduate PETR 3318 Drilling Engineering I, including its lab component. Prepare course materials, deliver lectures, and assess student performance. Qualifications Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering. Industry experience in the oil & gas sector, especially in drilling engineering. Prior university‑level teaching or delivery of courses in drilling engineering is highly desirable. Attachments Needed Unofficial transcripts. Curriculum vitae. Short statement outlining previous/current teaching/research experience related to drilling engineering. Job Details Adjunct faculty appointments are semester‑by‑semester and may be renewed based on institutional needs and satisfactory performance. Candidates must have a home address in Texas for the duration of their appointments. Official transcripts are required upon selection.
