Senior Pastor

Overview Little River Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor who has been called by God. We desire a shepherd who stands firmly on the inerrant Word of God, is passionate about preaching the Gospel, and is committed to leading our congregation in spiritual growth. We are looking for someone who embodies the values of Godliness, Love, Humility, Wisdom, and Faithfulness. Our church is healthy and growing, and we are excited about the future God has for us. Candidate Profile A clear calling from God to pastoral ministry. Must be a born‑again, baptized believer, and be able to publicly proclaim his testimony. Must demonstrate the qualifications set forth in 1 Timothy 3:1‑13, Titus 1:5‑9, 1 Peter 5:1‑4, and 2 Timothy 2. Must affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000). Should be dedicated to the sound biblical proclamation of the Word of God and to making disciples in the church, local community, and around the world in support of the Great Commission. Should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, readiness to lead by example, and a deep commitment to the ministry. Qualifications A seminary degree or the expected completion of a seminary degree. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate worship services for Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night services. Provide pastoral care to congregation members in times of need. Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of church ministries. #J-18808-Ljbffr SBC Executive Committee
