Job Description:

• Title : Certified OR Tech II – General OR | $15K Sign-On
• Location: Kansas City, MO.
• Schedule Options:
  • Mixed Schedule (Rotating Weekends) – 3x12s
  • Nights (Rotating Weekends) – 3x12s

On-Call Requirement: Must live within 30 minutes of the facility.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $25–$35/hr. (Based on experience) + Benefits
• $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
• $3/hr Night Differential
• $3/hr Weekend Differential
• On-Call Pay Available

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room, instruments, and sterile field
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating surgical needs
• Support patient positioning, prepping, draping, and patient transport
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Complete room turnover efficiently and support a collaborative OR environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of OR Tech experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology/CORT program
• CST certification preferred (NBSTSA)
• Current BLS certification required upon hire
• Must be competent as First Scrub in at least 3 specialty areas:

• Robotics
• Total Joints
• Neuro/Spine
• Vascular Surgery

• Ability to work confidently in high-volume surgical settings
