Salary range: $19.00 - $21.00, DOE Full Time - Day/Afternoons Shift Available Mariella of Arlington Heights We are looking for a Cook to join our team! As a Cook, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive tasty and nutritious meals and snacks. What you’ll be doing: Prepare a variety of dishes according to the daily menu. We’re all about creativity and are all ears if you have a unique spin on a classic recipe. Your cooking will impact the health and happiness of our residents. By following special dietary needs and creating meals that are both tasty and nutritious, you'll be making a real difference in their lives. Maintain high standards of quality – observing each dish to ensure it meets our recipe and appearance standards. Engage residents with friendly conversations and walk-thrus to ensure high satisfaction. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by properly cleaning all equipment, work areas, walls, and floors. Your dedication to hygiene is vital to our community's well-being. What you’ll bring to the table: High School diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience with food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation. Read and follow instructions, recipe books, menus, and food labels correctly. SERV-SAFE Certified preferred but not required. May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification.
