Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Surgery Physician – South Carolina

Start Date: July 3rd (weekend coverage)

Location: South Carolina

Compensation: Competitive locum rate; details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend coverage from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM; 24-hour availability with on-call and surgical responsibilities as needed

Highlights:

• Weekend hospital rounding and surgical coverage in a well-established cardiovascular program
• Core procedures include Aneurysm Repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), and Heart Valve Replacement
• Cardiothoracic surgery experience required
• EMR system: EPIC
• Travel reimbursement provided: flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rate

Requirements:

• Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Surgery (required)
• Board Certification in Cardiovascular Surgery (required)
• Active South Carolina medical license (must be currently active; facility will not sponsor new applications)
• Active ACLS certification (required)
• Self-query NPDB report required at time of credentialing
• Clean background and malpractice history required
