Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and nurture a trusting, therapeutic relationship with clients through empathy, respect, and active listening techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and family relationship problems.

• Create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique circumstances, goals, and challenges.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions via teletherapy, effectively utilizing digital tools to engage clients and facilitate meaningful conversations.

• Monitor and assess client progress through ongoing evaluations, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as client needs evolve.

Your clients will include individuals, couples, and families from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. You will provide culturally competent care that addresses the unique challenges that each patient faces, supporting them in their journey towards healing and self-discovery.

Qualifications\n

• Active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Strong knowledge of and experience in providing therapeutic interventions for individuals and groups.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct patient care experience, particularly in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using telehealth platforms and virtual therapy tools.

• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family systems theory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The anticipated salary for the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
