Job Description
Key Responsibilities: - Operate a Class A tractor-trailer for local deliveries.
- Load and unload freight using a forklift or hand truck.
- Complete Bills of Lading (BOL) and delivery paperwork.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Assist with warehouse, shipping, and receiving duties as needed.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
Required Qualifications: - Valid Class A CDL .
- Current DOT Medical Card .
- Experience operating a tractor-trailer.
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: - Local/city driving experience.
- Warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment.
You should be proficient in:
- DOT Medical Card
- Current CDL License
