Production Operator 1

Production Operator 1 – Memphis, TN (Fill Plant) Work schedule: Monday – Friday. Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment, including filling stations, compressors, pumps, and other machinery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operating procedures. Perform routine quality control checks on products, including cylinder inspections, pressure verification, and leak detection. Load and unload cylinders and other materials using forklifts and pallet jacks. Prepare cylinders for filling by inspecting, cleaning, and labeling them according to product specifications. Complete and maintain accurate production logs, inventory records, and other required documentation. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures. Participate in daily safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment. Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work area. Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and report major issues to supervisors. Collaborate with team members to advance production goals and maintain efficient operations. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods. Basic mathematical skills and ability to read and understand written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. Must be able to operate a forklift and obtain certification. Preferred: 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Prior experience with industrial gas production or cylinder handling. Prior forklift experience.
