Director of Finance

GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Finance Director is selected by and is responsible to the Chief Executive Officer. Under general direction the Finance Director directs and coordinates the Centers activities concerned with financial, administrative, general accounting, financial and statistical reporting. Implements and reviews the accounting systems for the Center to provide complete and accurate records of the Centers assets, liabilities, and financial transactions. Evaluates accounting and patient business service procedures, plans methods of ensuring receipt of payments on patients accounts are recorded promptly and accurately and monitors the costs and revenues of the Centers operations. Collaborates with management team in preparing the Centers budget based on past and present conditions in order to project future expenditures and revenues. Performs other duties as required to achieve organizational goals and program objectives. The Finance Director functions as a member of a collaborative health care team to create and maintain a Patient Centered Medical Home. Due to the nature of NHHC services, it may become necessary to require employees to work extended hours or other variations of the usual shift to ensure adequate care of patients and to maintain services to the community.
