You will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities and inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels, cost-effectiveness, and seamless operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective supplier management, and a proactive approach to inventory planning to meet business goals and customer needs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled communicator, and team-oriented leader who excels in building and managing both systems and people. In this position, you will: Develop and execute purchasing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage vendor relationships. Monitor stock levels, conduct audits, forecast demand, and optimize inventory to prevent overstock or shortages. Manage budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and minimize carrying costs. Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing/inventory team; ensure collaboration with internal departments. Streamline procurement and inventory processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies. Analyze data, create performance reports, and provide insights for strategic decisions. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; develop contingency plans for disruptions.
