Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate analytical accountant to join our growing key accounts department. The Staff Accountant, Key Accounts is responsible for supporting the monthly close process, account reconciliations, and Order-to-Cash activities for the organization’s OEM clients. This role works closely with various departments to ensure the accurate recording of financial transactions, timely collections, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records and providing analysis to support business operations for assigned key accounts.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process monthly remittances, cancels, and invoice preparation.
• Prepare journal entries, allocations, recurring entries, and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process.
• Review and process commission and incentive payments accurately and timely.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up with agencies and dealers regarding outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with internal departments and sales teams to resolve billing and payment inquiries and assist with quarterly reporting and other financial deliverables.
• Reconcile subledger activity to the general ledger (GL) and perform reconciliations of assigned GL accounts to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Maintain compliance with company accounting policies and US GAAP.
• Support automation, reporting, and process improvement initiatives, recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects assigned, providing insights into financial performance and potential improvements.
• Perform other duties at the discretion of management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum of 2-5+ years of relevant staff accounting experience.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred.
• Experience with month-end close, booking journal entries, GL, and account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform reconciliations and validate the accuracy of the information being used.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
