Traveling Audiologist

DescriptionWe are seeking a Traveling Audiologist to travel to Arizona to provide care at nursing homes for one to two weeks per month. We will assist you in obtaining licensure in Arizona. All travel expenses are reimbursed. You may have the opportunity for additional travel or other locations as we grow! New AudD graduates are welcome!Job TypePart-timeResponsibilitiesProviding hearing care to long-term residents in skilled nursing facilities including:Conduct otoscopic examsDiagnose and treat hearing loss using mobile audiology equipmentDispensing, programming, maintaining and repairing hearing aidsCerumen removalRecommend appropriate patient follow-up and care optionsDeliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactionsAttend clinics solo; responsible for all electronic progress note documentation and emailing completed notes to facilitiesDo what you do best, patient care! We focus on the clinical operations managing all the coordination, including scheduling and billing, so you can stay focused on doing what you love, providing "The Senior Standard of Care" to our patients!RequirementsProviding hearing care to long term residents in skilled nursing facilities – not assisted living.Medical Based Hearing Care – wax removal, tympanometry, hearing tests, hearing aid dispensesAttend clinics solo, responsible for all charting & sending notes to facilities1-2 homes/day, based on # of residents signed up for our policyArrive at facility to begin clinic at 9 am, our goal is to see approximately 15 patients per facilityDrive of at least 2-hour drive per clinic day (max 2.5 hours).Anything over 3 hours from home (if willing, not required), Aria will cover accommodations for overnight stay and a meal.Compensation is daily rate based on experience, plus mileage.Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.Aria Care Partners is the national leader in providing onsite dental, vision, hearing, and podiatry care to over 3500 long-term care and skilled nursing facilities across 25 states.
