Endoscopy RN - Day Shift
This is a 13-week contract position for an Endoscopy RN. The role will primarily involve providing high-quality nursing care in an endoscopy setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history and needs prior to procedures.
- Administer medications and provide care during endoscopic procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any changing conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families about procedures and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 12 months of permanent Endoscopy experience.
- Current Ohio RN License or a compact state RN License is required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required and must be active.
- Reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.
Schedule
Day shifts typically range from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential variations discussed during interviews. Call shifts required after hours and on weekends.
