Job Title Registered Nurse – Oncology (Travel) Location Birmingham, Alabama Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Oncology unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio Care for a diverse patient population including oncology, palliative, post-operative bariatric, and medical/surgical overflow patients Utilize electronic medical records via ePIC and operate standard clinical equipment including IV pumps and vital sign machines Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience Medical/Surgical experience required Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Current NIHSS certification (American Heart Association) Preferred Experience / Skills Acute care experience strongly preferred Experience with ePIC EMR system Demonstrated qualities of responsibility, dependability, compassion, and a patient-oriented approach Why Join Us Work at a large, accredited comprehensive healthcare facility recognized for excellence across multiple service lines including oncology and surgical care Located in a vibrant city with easy access to cultural attractions, dining, and recreational destinations Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 770606.
