Beautiful facility in the Mile High city is in urgent need of traveling Labor & Deliver Nurses for 13 week assignments, and with ASAP starts. Hospital required CO/Compact license, and ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications. Candidates must also have at least 2-3 years experience, and be able to work Memorial Day. Required: ACLS, BCLS, NRP + IV Start,
Circulate exp + 1 year exp + travel
Preferred: AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN advanced+ Scrub Floating to post partum required Patient Population:
Level II unit. Unit averages 180 deliveries a month. Transfer patients who are high risk or under 30 weeks to nearby sister hospital . AWHONN Guidlines used to determine patient to nurse ratio. Unit is Baby Friendly.Scrub Techs and OB Techs do not float Unit details: No managed drips Antepartum stays in L&D Magnesium administration stays in L&D NICU attend high risk deliveries Mom/Baby OB in house and OB for Kaiser patients and other groups do not stay in house Baby friendly Level 2 Nursery
