Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Prior experience working in a school setting is strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff
• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• Comfort with a diverse caseload that may include students with a range of needs

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students to determine strengths and areas for improvement
• Develop and execute targeted intervention plans to address fine motor, sensory, and functional life skills
• Work closely with teachers, aides, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment
• Monitor student progress, document treatment, and update goals as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide clear recommendations
• Offer guidance and training for staff and family members supporting students’ therapy needs
