Maintenance Technician

Position Summary Responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment. This role supports equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and executes maintenance and engineering-related projects. This position requires either: ??6+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or 4+ years of experience with a recognized trade certification Key Responsibilities ??Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on production and facility equipment, documenting all work in a CMMS system. ??Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems to restore equipment functionality. ??Diagnose complex system issues involving PLCs, motor controls, robotics, drives, and automated systems. ??Install, modify, and relocate equipment to support production needs and continuous improvement initiatives. ??Execute small-scale electrical and mechanical projects as assigned by leadership. ??Wire control panels and install electrical components in accordance with applicable codes and standards. ??Conduct testing of electrical systems (voltage, current, resistance, continuity) to ensure safe and proper operation. ??Run and install new power supply lines in compliance with electrical codes and company policies. ??Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings. ??Recommend and implement improvements to preventive and predictive maintenance programs. ??Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure organized, compliant work areas. ??Adhere to all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, and contribute to a safe work environment. ??Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support production goals. Required Skills & Qualifications ??Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across electrical and mechanical systems. ??Experience with PLCs, robotics, AC/DC drives, servo systems, HMIs, motor controls, and safety devices. ??Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. ??Knowledge of equipment setup, operation, and maintenance best practices. ??Familiarity with CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking. ??Proficiency with standard hand tools and shop equipment (e.g., lathe, mill). ??Basic knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems. ??Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask. ??Effective communication and teamwork skills. ??Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications ??Trade certification (e.g., Electrician or Industrial Mechanic). ??Advanced knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems. ??Experience with facility systems such as HVAC, air compressors, and dryers. ??Forklift and/or scissor lift certification or experience. Work Requirements ??Ability to work night shifts, rotating schedules, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. ??Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
