As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll play a key role in transforming raw materials into finished window systems by:

✅ Building and assembling large window units and components using hand and power tools

✅ Installing brackets, clips, fasteners, and hardware according to detailed specifications

✅ Applying caulking and sealants to ensure superior weatherproofing and quality performance

✅ Reading blueprints, drawings, and measurements to assemble products accurately

✅ Using tape measures and mechanical tools to achieve precise fits and alignments

✅ Performing quality inspections throughout the assembly process

✅ Testing seals and completed assemblies to ensure they meet the highest standards

✅ Wrapping, packaging, and preparing finished units for shipment

✅ Troubleshooting assembly issues and helping solve production challenges

✅ Supporting multiple departments through cross-training and teamwork

We're looking for mechanically inclined individuals who thrive in hands-on environments and enjoy seeing real results from their work.

• 3+ years in mechanical assembly, fabrication, construction, installation, or related trades
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, drills, and measuring devices
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure (required)
• Blueprint and drawing interpretation skills
• Manufacturing, construction, contracting, decking, HVAC, refrigeration, or similar hands-on experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
• Quality-focused mindset with exceptional attention to detail

This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are exactly the same.

You'll work with:

• Huge glass panels and steel-framed assemblies
• Products reaching approximately 30 feet in length
• Modern hand and power tools
• Cross-functional production teams
• Indoor and outdoor material handling areas
• Quality testing stations and assembly lines

Expect an active role where you'll be moving, building, measuring, assembling, and creating throughout your shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chester, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Chester,VA.
