Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular ICU

Location: Garland County, AR

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: Join a dedicated team established in 1954 to cater to the medical needs of Garland County and surrounding communities. Our facility features an 8-bed Cardiovascular ICU, expanded Cardiac Rehabilitation, and Outpatient therapy departments, along with a pre and post cardiac catheterization lab area servicing three catheterization labs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Cardiovascular ICU setting.
• Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current and valid RN license.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular ICU is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
