Site/Civil Engineer

Overview We are partner with a multidisciplinary civil engineering firm, seeking a Site/Civil Engineer to join a collaborative team in Houston, TX. This individual will play a key role in the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in site/civil engineering design for mixed‑use developments, retail centers, residential communities, higher education, federal projects, and other land development work within a continuous learning environment. Job Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and modification of engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D). Analyze reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to evaluate soil composition, terrain, hydrology, and other conditions impacting project planning and design. Support permitting efforts, with familiarity of local, state, and federal land use regulations considered a plus. Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. 3+ years of relevant experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and erosion control. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with solid analytical, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities.
