Senior Brand Strategist

A creative boutique Brooklyn based branding agency is looking for a Senior Brand Strategist to play a key role in shaping strategic thinking across a diverse portfolio of clients. Working closely with the Head of Strategy and creative team, you will lead the development of brand platforms, messaging frameworks, and strategic recommendations that inform every stage of the creative process. This role is suited to an experienced agency-side Brand Strategist who enjoys balancing analytical thinking with creativity. You will lead discovery sessions, conduct research, develop compelling strategic narratives, and confidently present recommendations to clients, while mentoring junior strategists and helping strengthen the agency’s strategic offering. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of brand strategy, positioning and messaging Conduct research, competitive analysis, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions Develop strategic frameworks, messaging guidelines, and creative briefs Present strategic recommendations confidently to clients Collaborate closely with designers to translate strategy into creative outcomes Mentor junior strategists and contribute to the evolution of the strategy team Support new strategic processes and stay informed on industry trends Key Skills / Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4-6 years’ experience in brand strategy within a creative or branding agency Proven experience working across multiple client accounts and industries Outstanding writing, presentation, and storytelling skills Strong research, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities Confident client-facing experience and workshop facilitation skills Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working independently The Crowd is an equal opportunities employer and agency. #J-18808-Ljbffr
