Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a reputable manufacturing company in Duarte. This role is responsible for setting up and operating 2-axis CNC lathe machines to produce precision plastic and non-metallic components while meeting strict quality standards and production deadlines.

CNC Lathe Machinist – 2nd Shift

Location: Duarte, CA
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 2-axis CNC lathe machines for repeat production
• Edit, load, and manage CNC programs
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
• Identify and document non-conforming parts
• Maintain production schedules and meet cycle time goals
• Complete required production and MRP/ERP documentation
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve processes
• Perform secondary operations as needed
• Monitor cycle times and drive efficiency improvements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and 5S standards
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC lathe machining experience
• CNC programming and setup knowledge
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
• Experience with precision measuring tools
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
• ERP/MRP experience (JobBoss preferred)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
