We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes in a precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for producing high-quality plastic and non-metallic components while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC 2-axis lathes and 3-axis mills.
- Edit and run CNC programs as needed.
- Read blueprints, process sheets, and manufacturing documents.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete production paperwork and MRP documentation.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
- Meet production schedules while reducing setup and cycle times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience with mills, lathes, or both.
- Ability to perform machine setups with minimal supervision.
- Experience reading blueprints and editing CNC programs.
- Proficient with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Strong shop math and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with JobBoss or similar manufacturing software is a plus.
- Technical certification (NTMA or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
