Automation Tester

Salary: $76,000 - 102,000 per year Requirements:

• Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the offered role or a related occupation; alternatively, a bachelors degree plus 5 years of progressive experience may be accepted.
• At least 3 years of experience with Java, Selenium, Playwright, and Cucumber.
• Experience with Java, J2EE, Selenium, Playwright, REST APIs, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman, SQL, MySQL, JavaScript, GitHub, Jenkins, web services, JUnit, Mockito, Swagger, HTML, Apache Kafka, Splunk, AWS, Jira, and Agile methodology.
• We will consider a suitable combination of education, training, or experience that meets the stated requirements.

• Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand functional and technical needs and translate them into software development and test automation solutions.
• Analyze applications and business processes to identify opportunities for system enhancements, performance improvements, process optimization, and automation.
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, automated testing frameworks, and utility programs that support enterprise operations and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Contribute to technical planning, including solution design, effort estimation, feasibility analysis, test strategy, and implementation planning.
• Create and maintain technical specifications, design documents, workflow diagrams, test plans and cases, automation scripts, and implementation guidance throughout the SDLC and STLC.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to validate functionality and perform functional, regression, integration, API, end-to-end, database, and performance testing; resolve defects and support successful delivery of enhancements.
• Troubleshoot application and automation issues, investigate root causes, resolve defects, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Support implementation, release, deployment, post-deployment, and production activities for business-critical applications and testing processes.
• Coordinate project activities with project managers, business analysts, developers, and support teams to meet delivery objectives.
• Review processes and recommend technical and automation improvements that strengthen efficiency, maintainability, scalability, and long-term supportability.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to software engineering standards, automation frameworks, development practices, and quality initiatives.
