This portfolio supports radar design, hardware builds, algorithm development, software development, hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) testing, and weapons system analysis across a diverse range of research, development, and operational programs.If this sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, keep reading!Primary ResponsibilitiesIn this role, assignments may focus on one or more of the following areas:Design, develop, test, and maintain software using Agile methodologies.Develop tactical software for Leidos Defense radar systems.Create modeling, simulation, and analysis toolsets supporting:Algorithm developmentRequirements developmentSystem testingPrototype radar system developmentTest, analyze, and debug complex software systems across multiple architectures and operating systems.Collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment supporting advanced RF and radar technologies.Basic QualificationsThis posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. Level of opportunity, including compensation, will be matched to a candidate's experience.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA or higher plus 2 - 4 years of experience in software development or engineering OR Masters degree with less than 2 years of experience.Strong understanding of:Object-oriented designData structuresNetwork communicationsExcellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced technical environment.Must be a US citizen, possess an active secret clearance or able to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance.Must reside in the Huntsville, AL area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.Preferred QualificationsExperience with:C++PythonLinuxGitMATLABFamiliarity with radar systems is a plus.If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
