Immigration Special Counsel - Washington, DC

Position Overview Foley & Lardner LLP seeks a senior Immigration attorney with law firm experience in business and family‑based immigration to join the Immigration, Nationality, and Consular Law – Government & Public Policy practice in Washington, DC. Candidates will represent foreign nationals and U.S. employers in employment‑based immigrant and non‑immigrant visa petitions, investment visas, family‑based immigrant visa petitions, consular processing, and naturalization before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the U.S. Department of State (DOS), and provide employer compliance with immigration and labor regulations. Qualifications JD from an ABA‑approved law school; in good standing and an active member of the District of Columbia Bar. Experience representing foreign nationals and U.S. employers in the described immigration actions. Fluency in Spanish and English, written and verbal, including with legal documents. Strong document drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills; positive attitude and exceptional work ethic; comfortable interacting with partners and clients. Timely admission to the District of Columbia Bar required. Compensation Expected salary is $210,000. Pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
