About the Role EZG Manufacturing is seeking a Saw Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. If you enjoy working with metal, operating equipment, reading blueprints, and producing high-quality parts, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with an industry-leading manufacturer. What you'll do: Operate CNC saw and manual equipment to safely produce quality parts at established production requirements. Read & interpret tape measure and other measurement tools. Perform first-piece, in-process and other inspections as required. Operator must be able to lift and manipulate by hand and with lift assist equipment all sizes of steel. Operate forklifts and cranes in a safe and efficient manner. Perform preventative maintenance activities. Conduct quality control checks to ensure finished products meet high standards. Perform other duties or special projects as assigned. What We're Looking For 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience. Saw operation and familiarity a plus. Previous experience as a CNC Equipment operator in a manufacturing setting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work order instructions, bending and operate required tools involved in position. Strong attention to detail and precision in sawing tasks. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules. Ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged. Ability to choose the right mathematical method or formula to solve a problem. Ability to adjust the controls of a machine quickly and repeatedly to exact positions. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
