A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Occupational Therapist to support students in a vibrant elementary school setting in the San Juan Capistrano area. As a critical part of the student services team, you’ll help bridge the gap while the current OT is out on leave due to surgery. This contract position runs from September to December, offering a full-time schedule, but part-time applicants are also encouraged to apply if seeking flexible hours.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Active California OT license
• Prior experience in a school-based OT role is essential
• Comfortable navigating changing environments; board-driven shifts may impact assignments
• Ready to take initiative and provide immediate support—strong independent work skills
• This position is not accepting COTAs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
• Assess student needs, develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support student success
• Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt swiftly to evolving caseloads and school priorities
• Provide on-site therapy and consultation services in compliance with school and state guidelines
