Its finance team is closely embedded with the wider platform and plays a critical role in supporting new strategies, launching funds, improving infrastructure and helping senior management make informed decisions.

This is not a narrow reporting role. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across the fund platform, work with senior stakeholders throughout the business and help shape how the firm’s financial reporting capability evolves.

What you’ll do

• Own key financial reporting deliverables across a diverse range of funds and investment strategies
• Build a detailed understanding of the firm’s products, structures and economics, becoming a trusted point of contact for complex accounting matters
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, Operations, Valuations, Legal, Compliance and Investor Relations on business-critical reporting and fund initiatives
• Lead relationships with auditors, administrators and other external providers, challenging outputs and driving high standards
• Analyze complex financial information, identify issues and turn accounting data into clear, commercially relevant insight
• Improve the firm’s reporting infrastructure by strengthening controls, automating workflows and reducing manual processes
• Work directly with senior management on ad-hoc projects, new products and initiatives linked to the continued growth of the platform

Who this suits

• CPA with two to three years of financial-services audit or accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting and financial-reporting knowledge
• Experience working with investment funds, asset managers or other complex financial institutions
• Commercially minded and interested in understanding how an investment business operates
• Confident communicating technical issues to non-accounting stakeholders
• Proactive, intellectually curious and motivated by building better processes
