About the Position

Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician

Location: Denver, Colorado

Setting: Inpatient hospital

Start: Mid October (estimated)

Duration: Approximately 3 to 4 months, with potential to extend

Schedule: Weeknight and weekend coverage with occasional inpatient day shifts

Shift details:

• Nights: 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekends may include 24 hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) and day or night blocks as needed

Position Overview

• Provide high acuity OB hospitalist coverage including deliveries and OB emergency department triage.
• Manage emergent gynecology procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with residents and the multidisciplinary team.
• Document care in the electronic medical record.

Required Qualifications

• Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active Colorado license or qualification eligible for Colorado licensing.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification.
• Comfortable working in a high acuity inpatient environment.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
